STEP 01
Choose a plan & pay the service fee
Compare the yearly service fee; rent remains with the tenant.
How it works
A future, optional arrangement for your own rent. This preview is for information and enquiries only; it does not take rent, process a service fee, verify identity or create an agreement.
FICTIONAL WALKTHROUGH
A calm, local-only illustration of a proposed RentBuddy route. It is designed to explain sequence, not to start a service.
Until Step 06, rent stays in your own hands; Step 01 pays the service fee only and does not transfer rent.
STEP 01
Compare the yearly service fee; rent remains with the tenant.
Selected example: Standard
Stripe is named only for this fictional status. No charge occurs here, and the landlord does not take part in rent at this step.
Demo status: not simulated
01 Choose a plan and pay the service fee via Stripe.
01 No involvement and no landlord service fee.
01 Record the selected plan and service-fee status separately from rent.
STEP 02
A landlord or agent supplies example tenancy and recipient details.
No invitation is sent. RentBuddy checks the recipient account before a release in the proposed route.
Demo status: no example invitation marked
02 Invite your landlord or agent; keep rent with you.
02 Supply the property, term, rent and recipient details.
02 Check the recipient account before a rent release.
STEP 03
Both sides see fictional agreement and authorisation records.
The records are fictional. No agreement is signed and rent does not move at this step.
Demo status: no example record marked
03 Review the tenancy, agreement and payment authorisation.
03 Receive the Payment Arrangement Confirmation.
03 Record agreement and authorisation timestamps.
STEP 04
A third party is shown handling a non-live identity example.
No files are requested or collected here. This screen cannot perform a check.
Demo status: check route not simulated
04 Provide ID and a selfie; Premium contributors are checked too.
04 No tenant identity documents are shared with the landlord.
04 Route checks to [KYC provider].
STEP 05
Applicant details and a funding-source explanation are illustrated.
This is a display-only example of applicant information and a source-of-funds explanation.
Demo status: statement not simulated
05 Complete applicant details and explain the source of rent funds.
05 No action needed for applicant information.
05 Review the applicant details and funds explanation.
STEP 06
Only at the end does the example show rent moving to the APA escrow account.
This demo cannot be used for a remittance. Premium family members may provide their local currency; the partner may convert it at a rate it has disclosed. After APA confirms receipt, rent is paid to the landlord on each monthly due date. No currency, charge, or arrival time is stated here.
Demo status: final route not simulated
06 Transfer rent using the verified partner instructions and Reference.
06 Receive no more than one month of rent on each due date.
06 Record the APA receipt and monthly payment updates; never hold rent.
CLEAR ROLES
Clears local example statuses only.
The six-step journey shown above is the intended order. It is illustrative only; no step is live on this website.
Your rent remains with you until step 06, apart from any separate demonstration-only service-fee step in step 01. This site provides no receiving account, amount, reference, SWIFT/BIC, payment instruction or live confirmation.
Standard £299/year excl. VAT (£358.80 incl. VAT) · Premium £399/year excl. VAT (£478.80 incl. VAT). Both proposed packages cover the core monthly arrangement, funding options, reminders, payment records, bilingual support and the stated end-of-tenancy support. Premium adds family, reminder, record and support features, plus the conditional guarantor-route benefit.
A return of remaining rent at the end of a tenancy is separate from a service-fee refund. Proposed refund rule, refund cost to be confirmed and subject to final-terms review: [A full refund is available before identity verification begins; once verification has begun, the verification cost of £__ is non-refundable.]
The form is an enquiry, not a service application, payment, identity check or signature journey. It requests only name, email, role, optional organisation, optional message and contact consent.
